How do unlock my Access database?

I am a novice user of Access. I was trying to secure a database that I
created so that others could view it, but not be able to make changes. I
went through th "One-step Security Wizard". I have a printout with the user
information I created, but now I can not open the database. When promted for
a name and password, I have typed in the information from the report, but it
says the entries are invalid.
Please help!

What version of Access?
Are you opening the database via a desktop shortcut?

I have tried both, for a shortcut and then from the actual file. It is stored

I think my problem has fixed itself. After restarting my computer I was able
to access the database. Thanks anyway
