How do you adjust Word table row height using the mouse?

In Word 2003 you could use the mouse to adjust table row heights and column
widths. I can't do this in 2007. I tried changing the autofit (can't seem to
turn it off so that's another issue), but nothing. It doesn't even work when
I decrease the row height in the table properties. Can anyone help?

Maybe the table is corrupt as I have no problem doing the things that you
say you cannot do in Word 2007.
