How do you back up E-mail messages on a Disc?

I am having hard drive difficulties, so I want to make sure that I have all
my files backed-up for when it crashes. How do I save my E-mail messages onto
a back-up disc?

Copy your .pst file when Outlook is closed.
It contains your messages, contacts, calendar items, etc.
