How do you calculate the square root to the fifth or

square root to the fourth power, etc. in MS Excel?

If you mean the fifth root, or fourth root:

=A1^(1/5)

or

=A1^(1/4)

My interpretation of your expression, "the fifth square root
means taking successive square roots five times. That would b
expressed as a power of a power such as:

= A1^(1/2)^(5), or if you "know" that 2^5 = 32, then us
=A1^(1/32)
= A1^(1/2)^(4), or use =A1^(1/16), etc.
