How do you change administrator settings to save word file to CD?

I cannot find a way to save my word files directly to "D" drive (my CD). It
says "incorrect function" and then "You do not have access to this...see your
administrator for details."
I am the only one using this computer and can't seem to find this security
setting anywhere. In order to save I have to download onto a media player
and then save to CD.
Thanks to anyone who can steer me in the right direction.

In Word it is not recommended to save directly to removable media. Save
your file on the hard disk and then copy it to your CD.
