How do you change the label in a Visio 'Signal Send' object

I am trying to change the default label on a Signal Send object in a Visio
UML activity diagram. The default value is 'no send signal'. How do I change
this??

Hi,

The signal send shape depends on the signal shape
therefore you need to have a signal defined in the UML model.
drop the Signal shape from "UML Static Structure" stencil.
then right-click on the Signal Send shape
select "Properties". Select "Actions" from the left pane and click the
"Properties" button.
In the "UML Send Action Properties" dialog, you are able to select a signal
for your Action.
After you do that, your Signal Send shape will show the name of the Signal.
So any name for the signal shape will be displayed in the text of the signal
send shape

Thanks for this - however the Signal Dropdown box in the 'UML Send Action
Properties' tab is greyed out and contains the default text <no signals or
exceptions available> . Therefore i cannot select a signal for the action.
Any ideas??
