How do you change what appears in the From field in an Outlook mes

When I send a message, I want just my name to appear in the From field in
Outlook. Everytime I send a message it reads:

Jane Doe ([email protected])

I would like to not have my email address automatically appear:

Jane Doe

Any ideas?

You will need to edit your contact for "Display As" field (under the email
alias field). Just change it to your name and that is what Outlook will show.

Hi John, I hugely appreciate your very quick reply. I don't mean to be
dense, but where will I find the the email alias field? Again, thank you.

But that won't change the contents of the From header that the
recipients sees in the e-mail.

Hi VanguardLH, you are correct that it doesn't change what appears in the
"From" field. I promise I'm not a spammer. I have an account I use for my
business, and I am fine with Jane Doe ([email protected]) appearing in the From
field when I send a message from that account. But when my husband goes to
send an email from his account, it still reads this way.

Any ideas? All are appreciated, thank you for your help.

Yes, I should have been clearer.

If you have a contact for yourself (if you don't, make one), the email field
and display as will be in the left hand column. You can make the changes
there. The downside is that only you will see that change.

People that receive your email would need to do to the same thing to the
contact they have for you (if they use Outlook and have a contact).
Alternately, you could send your contact as a vCard so they would get a copy
of it. Again, they would need to use Outlook to see the difference.
