How do you clear the list of RECENTLY USED TEMPLATES in WORD?

In Word - When you Open a NEW document, you gt a list of RECENTLY USED
TEMPLATES in a new pane. I have deleted the files of some of the templates
shown. If I click on the names, the progam tells me the files no longer
exist. But how do I update the list show it doesn't show the names?

I guess you mean Word 2007? Right click and select 'remove template'.
