how do you configure Outlook for MAPI

Corel Photo Shop 6 says that I must configure Microsoft Outlook to MAPI to be
able to send photos by email from PhotoShop. What is MAPI and how do I
configure Outlook to enable MAPI?

MAPI = Mail API
API = Application Programming Interface

MAPI is provided with Windows. You need to specify what is the default
e-mail client to associate with MAPI calls by other applications. In
Internet Options -> Programs, select Outlook as the e-mail client.

Is Outlook installed? Do you have a mail account defined in Outlook? Is it your default mail program? If yes to all 3, then voila - you have a MAPI client.
