How do you convert mins to hours

I have two columns of data, HOUR AND MINS. I WILL LIKE TO
ABOUT TO CONVERT THE MINS TO HOURS. THIS FUNCTION IS NOT
GIVING ME THE EXACT HOURS.=A1+(B1/60)
EXAMPLE
A1: B1: C:1
HOURS MINS HOURS
48 25 ANSWER
20 15 ANSWER

Your formula is correct. 48 hours and 25 minutes is 48.416667 hours, which
is what your formula gives.

If you want this to result in real time 48:25 then
=A1/24+B1/1440
format cells as custom format [h]:mm
