I recently purchased a new Dell Latitude computer and I was using an Symantec
ACT program for my data base of contacts. On this lap top I have Microsoft
Outlook, and have heard of people converting their ACT program into the
Microsoft utlook Contact List. Does anyone know how this is done or has
anyone had experience woth this process?

A lot depends on which ACT, which Outlook and which OS you are using. I have
not been able to get contacts from ACT 200t to Outlook 2007 running on Vista.
I don't think Microsoft is better than anyone else supporting programs on
Vista.

But not to cast aspersions on Microsoft...if you are running ACT 3.x, 4.x or
2000, and you have moved ACT to your new Dell There is an Import utility in
Files - Import/Export.

If ACT is still on your old machine, you can Export your conacts to a CSV
test file, copy them to a removeable media and import the file into Outlook,
but a few words of caution. If you are using Outlook 2007 on Vista, I have
not been able to get Outlook to seel the
CSV file.
