How do you create "tick boxes" in a word document please?

Entering tick boxes in word

I would like to create forms and slips for clients to reply to me with a
simple "tick box" for them to tick. Despite this being a very common need
the tick-box does not appear in any character set that I have seen. Does
anyone know how to create them please?
