How do you delete the lines around a cell?

John

Hello:

I have a 3x3 table. Without deleting the text contained therein, I want to
delete the lines around the cells in both the first row and the first
column. How do you do this?

Thank you for your assistance.

Is this in Word? If yes, look at the Borders and Shading selection.

In the Design tab, highlight the cells you want to remove the borders from,
then use the borders dropdown to remove the relevant grid lines.
