How do you expand forwarded emails - rather than attachments

Hello,

I have an interesting issue that I would like to resolve. My office uses
Groupwise and I use Outlook 2003 (personal account). A while back, I set up a
rule in Groupwise to automatically forward messages to my Outlook account (up
to 100 messages or more a day). Initially, when the email arrived in my inbox
the forwarded message would appear as an envelope (attachment) which I would
have to double click on to open. In addition, the subject line would be Fwd:

After a while of doing this, Outlook began expanding (or reading or
converting or something) the forward email messages so that I no longer had
to click on the attached "envelope" message to read the body of the email.
Further, instead of showing the email as being from "myself", outlook would
list the original author (whose email I was forwarding) in the "from" column.

Not surprisingly, that was a great development because it cut down on time
and allowed me to read my work email in outlook as if it had been sent there
first (rather than being treated as a forwarded email from Groupwise).

Problem is, I have no idea what adjustment Outlook made to make it that
transition (i.e. to show the email regularly instead of as an attachment) and
now it has reverted back to the whole "envelope" forwarded message thing.

Any ideas how I turn the expand (for lack of a better word) function back on
so that I can see forwarded emails as if they were sent directly to outlook?
All input would be most appreciated.
