How do you get around the five clause limit on Conditional Formatt

As I noted in my recent blog post (
http://becraftsblog.blogspot.com/2008/11/infopath-limits-conditions-to-no-more.html
), I was disappointed when I recently discovered that in a straightforward
list of conditions, InfoPath limits me to just five clauses.

I am interested in a way to get around this, but my initial stab at an XPath
expression did not have the desired effect. Certainly, I could bone up on
XPath and try to come up with a more creative solution, but if anyone has
already discovered a way to work around this limitation simply enough, I'd
love to hear about it.

Can any of the MVPs or other aces who follow this group please share any
tips they may have on this topic, either here, or as a comment on my blog
post, or both?

Thanks,
Jeff Becraft

Hey Jeff.

It is only the UI that has the 5 limit. You have to put more complex
formulas in each box.

So add 5 then switch to an expression in the first drop down and you will
see the Xpath for the entire thing then use your copy and paste to put that
now on one line and add some more conditions.

I think there may be an old blog on www.infopathdev.com regarding this.
