How do you get Office Upgrade to Download?

I have Office 2000 Standard. I am having difficulty opening documents
attached to e-mails in Outlook. I keep getting the message to down load 3
Office upgrades. I have tried with and without the CD routes without
success. Any ideas?

Mr Canuck:

The first thing I tell users is to try and repair your Office product in
case it has become corrupted. In any Office product go to Help menu -> Detect
and Repair.
If that doesn't work, try searching the forums for people that have had
similar issues as yours, you'd be surprised that many of the issues people
post about have already been resolved previously.
Other than that, please provide more information to help you out, what error
messages are you seeing?
What steps did you take to try and upgrade to SP3? Website? CD?
