How do you highlight using the drop down boxes?

I can do it via the highlight button , or via a keyboard shortcut, but how do
you do this from the drop down boxes? it used to be under Tools, Highlight.

I'm having trouble following your question... Which version of Word do you have?
Which version were you using when "it used to be under Tools, Highlight"? Can
you describe in a bit more detail what you're missing?

Hi Cindy.
In Word 97, you used to be able to click on the Highlight under Tools in the
menu bar.
In Word 2003, there doesn't seem to be any way of using Highlight, except by
clicking on the Highlight button on the toolbar, or using control codes.

I want to be able to do this via the Menu bar.

Hi Simon,

You can put it on the menu yourself. The article
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AsgnCmdOrMacroToToolbar.htm
explains the procedure. The Highlight command you're looking for is in the
Format category in the Customize dialog, but you can drag it onto the Tools
menu or any other.
