I am having difficulty trying to import act 2006 8.0 into business contact
manager. Is there a fix for this?
Depends on the problem.
The most recent ACT import module should work with most data, with the
exception of data types that changed with ACT 8. And if the import
module finds one of those differences it will stop the import at that
point. I heard that BCM intends to continue to support ACT, so they'll
probably add support for ACT 8 in a future release.
The database may have some corrupt data. The ACT program itself may
continue to work (catch the problem and ignore it) but ACT's
interface, used by BCM, may not. I've run into such situations using
the ACT SDK.
