how do you import Cisco network stencils.

i'm trying to add Cisco Shapes in my Visio diagram and can't get Visio to see
my Cisco stencils.

Unless the Cisco instructions say otherwise, put them in the My Stencils folder within My
Documents. They will then appear on the menu File -> Shapes

When you say "can't see" do you mean that Visio doesn't find the directory
for the stencils, or once the stencil is loaded, Visio doesn't see the shapes?

Assuming the 1st, there are two methods to find the stencils.
First: either either click on the "shapes" icon on the tool bar or File >
Shapes. Click Open stencil... and then navigate to the directory that has
your Cisco stencils.

Second: goto Menu Bar > Tools > Options and click the Advanced tab. Then,
in the lower left corner, click the File Paths.. button. Then, to the right
of Stencils, click the "..." button. Navigate to the desired directory and
enter it into the form. This will become a defined look up path that Visio
will remember.
