How do you import Projects from Project Server to Portfolio Server?

How do you import Projects from Project Server to Portfolio Server? I tried Mass Import, but it didn't work.

Hi Dennis,

When you create a project in portfolio server you will find a link called
Project Server Gateway under the "schedule" tab. When you use this gateway
you can specify to import a project from Project Server. This will import the
schedule ( Milestones and Phases).

I hope this is what you are after mate

Server 2007. Can you tell me how to get there/

Hi Dennis,

1. Click on the Builder link then my scorecard.
2. click the "add" button. A dialog window will appear
3. From here you can decide in what hierachy the project should be created.
4. Choose Project and click add.

This will now give you a new screen called "Project Information". from here
you can create your project. Enter the project information and click update.
You will now see many tabs and one of them is the schedule tab. From there
you can use the Project Gateway to link the project from Project Server to
Portfolio Server.
