how do you insert a regression line on a chart?

i'm need to add a regression line to a chart i'm makeing for a physics lab.
does anyone know how to add a regression line to a chart?

Chart|Add Trendline
Your chart should be an "XY (Scatter)" chart, not a "Line" chart.
