How do you insert cut lines for business cards

I want to insert cutlines for business cards on a 8.5" by 11" and 11"x17"
cardstock. Could anyone help me?

Here's a dweeby little trick that works for me.

With your card on screen, make a text box that exactly
frames the outer edge of the card. Go to..Line/Border
Style and choose 1/4 pt. This will place a fine line around
the edge of the card.

On your print screen, at the "Change Copies Per Sheet"
button...set the Horizontal and Vertical gap to Zero.
Try .7 for the side margin.

The result should be a printed page with only a line
separating the cards. Cut the line...you're done.

In addition to John's reply, business cards are a standard 3.5" x 2", the side
margins are .75, top and bottom .05, gaps are zero. This gives you 10 cards per
letter size sheet.
A template here:

Your 11 x 17 is setup .25 side, .5 top. zero gaps. This setup gives 3 columns of 8.
You must pay attention to your printer's margin limitations; especially if it is an
inkjet. You might have to adjust the margins, resulting in less cards per sheet.

Ten cards per sheet is true if you are dealing with pre-perfed card stock,
but if the OP is using regular card stock that isn't pre-perfed a yield of
12 per sheet is possible if landscape mode is used. Additionally, if all the
cards are identical, then setting the page size to 3.5 x 2 and then printing
multiple pages per sheet with top and left side margin of .25 will yield 12
cards in landscape. To make cut lines for these, I put a 1/4 pt. line in
each corner and have the line be as short as possible. When printed this
results in a cross pattern that isn't likely to show when cut, but is very
easy to follow.

AND...many commercial printers want 4 business cards up in the middle.

Most of the commercial printers aren't concerned about cut lines because the
card stock is already trimmed to 8.5 x 3.5 prior to printing and once
printed the cards are run through a slitter.
