How do you Install just OneNote off of the Office Ultimate Disc?

Hi,

I was working with the OneNote trial version, and after it expired, I picked
up a copy of Office Ultimate '07. Being that I have Office already installed
on my work computer, I'd like to install just OneNote. Does anyone now how
I'd go about doing this? Thanks in advance!

Of do not misunderstand you, the ON trial is still installed, right?
If so: No new install necessary
"Converting" (as MS calls it) he trial to a fully licensed version by
entering the product key is all needed.

From the instructions for the trial:
"Follow these steps to convert the trial:
You can convert from the trial software to a full-version either before
or after your trial period ends.

Before the trial period ends:
You will start receiving expiration reminder messages indicating the
date when the trial will expire. At this point, you can convert to the
full product in two ways:

1. In any of the expiration reminder messages, click Convert, and then
follow the steps in the conversion process, below.

2. At any time during the trial period (or even after the trial has
expired), you can open any of the Microsoft Office System products, and
in the Help menu: click "Activate your software".

After the trial period expires:
The software goes into reduced functionality mode. Some of the
limitations of reduced functionality mode include the following:
- You can not create any new files.
- You can view existing files, but you can not modify them.
- You can print files, but you can not save them. " [1]

If what Rainald has suggested doesn't work, and you still want to proceed
with an install, I would uninstall the trial of OneNote, and then install
Office Ultimate. On one of the first screens (working from memory here, I
think it is the screen after you type the 25-character product code) you
have two buttons - Install and Customize. Clicking on Customize should get
you to a screen where you can choose which products or components get
installed. I would uncheck the other main Office apps but keep the
supporting tools checked.

Then hie thee hither to Windows Update to get the latest patches, etc.
