How do you interface a task column with a resource column in MS P.

I have a lady working for me. She has a task sheet and a resource sheet in MS
Projects. She wants to know if you add a new field to the task sheet, it must
read values which are in the resource sheet in the same project. Is there a
macro or some sort of script that we can use to accomplish this.
