How do you keep Word from capitalizing everytime hit return?

In Word, click on Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect tab |
uncheck the "Capitalize first letter of sentences" box | OK.

The better approach is to use the facilities of a word processor and never
hit return until you reach the end of a paragraph.
