How do you limit the number of emails sent in a certain time frame

I work at a small business and I need to regularly send out several hundred
emails to customers. My ISP however, starts to block emails if I send more
than 20 in a five minute period. I usually us mail merge to personalize the
emails, is there anyway to make Outlook 2003 (with XP) send emails in chunks
instead of to the whole list at the same time?

Any advice wil be apprecieated!
