I have a vertical arrow. I want to have a horizontal arrow come in
from the side and connect in the middle of it. Visio 2003 wont let me
do this, as it only snaps to the ends of the vertical arrow and aligns
the horizontal arrow head vertically. How do I get around this??

Hello Mike,

You need to add a connection point.

Select the "Connection Point" tool from the drop-down arrow (to the right of
the mouse icon arrow), then press the ctrl key and left click on the shape
at the place you want to add the connnection point.

Best regards

John
