How do you organize your notes?

I'm coming back to onenote after trying a few other programs, and yes,
there is something to be said for asthetics. This isn't the most
powerful program out there, but it is a pleasure to use. I'm curious
though, how people are organizing their note pages. Do you organize by
context, by life role, by project? Also, what sort of flags are people
finding most useful?

Just curious.

I think this is an excellent question -- but wish that I have an
excellent, or even very good answer.

All of the above, depending on the context.

Some folders are very subject oriented with hiearchies that
I am building.

Others are very task oriented.

Some are for (what I think you mean by) roles, such as
personal or related to members of my family (where I
am collecting and sharing info with that person.)

I am really not fond of OneNotes methods for moving pages
however. I also believe they might have provided FEWER
start folders/sections. It was a bit of a clutter until I just
started deleted anything I wasn't using.

What -- by the way -- is more powerful?

My short answer is "Yes!". I am still trying to get ON to do everything
I think it can do (I got a tablet pc a month ago).

As a preacher part of my organziation is via biblical reference but
otherwise it's pretty much "roles" and "projects". I am looking
forward to "linking" so that my stewardship spreadsheet is linked to
OneNote jottings at meetings, letters to the Session and the like.

I am also using it for data re: counseling. The password feature is
priceless at this point. This way I can keep stuff on
individuals/couples and make sure it's safe and not sitting in a file
somewhere.
