How do you print a large poster on mulitple sheets of paper?

In some program that isn't Word. Try Excel or Publisher.

Word has no way to spread one poster over multiple sheets; the other programs
do.

In addition, some printer drivers can tile a document over more than one
page. If so, you'll see a "poster" option in the printer Properties.
