How do you pull BCWS in hours?

My organization's contractor policies do not enable us to load true rates
into Project Server. Due to this, I have some challenges extracting BCWS. The
Enterprise Resource Pool uses bogus rates (which I cannot change due to more
red tape). Consequently, I would like to only extract the BCWS in hours by
resource, and then apply the real rates on my own in Excel.

Unfortunately I can't seem to isolate BCWS in hours. In addition, because of
the presence of a $0 Overtime Rate (another enterprise restriction), I can't
even back into the BCWS hours by pulling the BCWS and Standard Rate fields.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Munem.

you could use the data analyser to extract the actual hours worked per
resource and export this into an excel spreadsheet. From there you can do any
calculation that you wish to perform.
I think that would be the easiest way
Hope this helps

Munem:

I think that if you change the resource rates to $1.00, and set the OT rate
at $1.50 (for time and a half as the case may be) your problem will be
solved.

If you set the rate to 1$/Hr you will essentially be pulling the hours.

If your enterprise is trying to do any EVM measurement, setting all rates
to $1.00 will not work. You need to maintain the proportionality of the
different rates. For instance, $1.00/h could be the value of the LOWEST rate,
then are others will be $1.05, $1.40, $2.20, $2.25, and so forth. This
doesn't help your BWCS Hours problem, but if they want REAL EVM numbers,
proportionality has to be there.
