How do you put a picture (Image) in a mailing Label in Word 2000?

Hello, I would like to create special mailing labels with graphics on them.
I have downloaded a few templates but then have to replace the supplied
picture with the one I want to use. It works but is cumbersome when you have
30 labels on a page. I am using the Avery 8160 Mailing Labels. I tried
typing in my return address, then placing the image next to it and selecting
everything and clicking on Tools, then Envelopes and Labels. The address
transferred over, but the image didn't.

Thanks.

Thank you, JoAnn. Unfortunately, I don't have Publisher, so that's why I
have to use Word.

Download the new version of the Avery Wizard at avery.com/wizard. It's a

If you haven't tried the Wizard lately, try the new version. It makes mail
merge WAY easier than in Word, and it saves you time in all the copying and
pasting you would need to do for a return address label or a business card.
It's free at avery.com/wizard.

No, thank you. I use Publisher to make my "fancy" labels and business cards
and Word to make the plain labels. I don't need additional software that
does something I can already do.
