yes it does, I am testing windows defender beta 2 now on 3 functional usage
computers with no problems, I am testing ie7 beta too on the computer
running office 2007 also with no problems. I have not tried to remove this
yet- it works fine for me, i basically put it on to learn the new features
and to test it for microsoft to get the bugs out of it, but if i decide i do
not want it after the beta is over and also i decide to released copy that
will go out to the public I want the opportunity to be able to take this off
without a system restore.

Bob I said:
Might I suggest you forego using betas in the future, it doesn't seem to
set well with you.
i am testing it on a computer that i only use for testing purposes but
still even in beta you should be able to uninstall it when it expires or
if you are having difficulty with it without having to do a system
restore or a reformat.

Restore your image taken from before the beta or format your hard drive.
This is why Microsoft explicitly tells you not to run a beta on a live
production machine.

After furious head scratching, robin asked:
| Add/Remove programs will allow me to remove MS Office 2007 beta but
| it it says when you click on it that the Technical refresh cannot be
| removed. When the beta is over and I decide I want to remove Office
| 2007 how do I get that part removed if I cannot get it out of
| add/remove programs?
|
| thanks
