How do you remove the "delete block yes/no" prompt in Word 2003?

Jennifer

In Word 2000 I could highlight the text in a document and click delete and it
would delete.

I just upgraded to Word 2003 and when I highlight a block of text and press
the delete key Word displays a prompt in the bottom left window bar "Delete
Block? No (Yes)", then I have to click Y before it will delete the text.

Is there a way to turn off this feature in Word 2003?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two
boxes for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
