I am busy working on my presentation on powerpoint and i wanted to take my
object and show the different "layers". for example i have an electrical
meter that consists of 4 layers : the base cover, the circuit board and its
components, the protection layer and the top cover. Is this possible to do
this through microsoft office powerpoint 2003 or microsoft office visio
2003???

In Visio, you can add/remove or change the visibility of layer in the Layer
Property dialog (R-click the page, View->Layer Properties...)
To assign the shapes to layer, R-click the shape, Format->Layer...

Hin;

As a follow-on question, is there a way to insert controls on a drawing that
would do the same thing? In other words, if I have three layers, I would
want three check boxes on my drawing to do the same thing, ie.: make visible
or hide. It would be really cool to be able to toggle shapes on and off in a
web page like that.

Thanks.

John
