How do you stop Project Server from sending a "Your assignment haschanged" alert every time the proj

Perhaps you republish because there is a custom field that was
updated. Doesn't mean their assignment changed.

Please advise.

Go to tools menu / options / collaborate tab and set the "Publish New and
Changed" assignments option to "Start Finish % complete ..."
