how do you store your code bits

I'm sure you all have systems for keeping you bits and
pieces of code in a place where you can find it the next
time it's needed. But how do you do it?
In a db? is there software for this you can recommend?

I keep useful code in a library database or ActiveX DLL. Then I reference
either the library and/or DLL in other apps as needed.
