How do you turn on OVERWRITE mode by default?

Just switched to PRoject 2003 and the biggest difference/annoyance that I
immediately noticed is that when editing a tast description, OVR (overwrite)
mode is DISabled (greyed out, bottom right) by default meaning that I
overwrite the task name text rather than add to it.

Does anyone know how to change the default setting of OVR?
