How do you turn text sideways in access?

We use access to control our filing and currently the admin staff have to
write the file number on the side of our facing sheet in marker pen as the
files are stored side on, does any one know how to turn text through 90
degree's in access to acheive this?

How is this a "tablesdbdesign" newsgroup question?

Have they tried printing to labels and attaching labels?

Have they tried putting the paper in the other way?

(If these suggestions seem a little facetious, bear in mind that we aren't
there, can't see what you see, don't know the specifics of what your are
doing already, so it's a bit difficult to offer specific suggestions...<g>)

Jeff,

You are right, I am new to this and am trying to get help on turning text on
its side very much like you can do in excel but in access! The forms we print
off are in portrait but the filing is stored landscapes, given we have to
pring off the form once, to print again either a label or on the form is un
economic (never mind bad for the environment).

If you can think of a better section to post this on please let me know.

Dan,

The answer to your question is this:
In design view, select the field that you want to turn vertical, and
under Properties -> Other, select 'Yes' next to vertical.

Just FYI, as Jeff posted, this isn't a table design question, but a report
question, and is better posted under the 'Reports' forumn

Good luck,
