How does changing WSS server affect existing team sites?

Hi,
We are running ProjServ 2003 and WSS on Box1. We have 2 live WSS sites
running on this server.

We have subsequently implemented WSS and full Portal Server 2003 on Box 2 to
run an Intranet. We would now like to point project server at Box2's WSS
rather than its own.

Question is, what impact would this have on the 2 existing sites running
from Box1's WSS? Would they stay using Box1 while all new sites would be
created on Box2, or would we have to migrate them onto Box2 WSS before
pointing project server at Box2?
