How does one add values to the selection box?

I am creating screen mocks using Visio. I need to add two selection boxes. I
found this in the Common Controls, but when I drag it to the Visio document
nothing happens.

I expect to be add values to the selection box to give my Subject Matter
Experts an idea of how this will work. All I see are dotted lines.

Hello Danielle,

The Selection box shape repesents the selection marquee that's created when
you drag the mouse over multiple object (eg left-click and drag on your
desktop). Use a shape control that naturally accepts text such as the Text
box or Group box (under Windows and Dialogs).

If you still want to add text to the Selection box then you need to turn off
the shape's text protection (Format / Protection... / Text).
