How does one email a photo from my pictures. I click email file .

I go to "my pictures" folder and I select a photo. I then go to the task
menu on the side and select email file. It then brings up an email window
with the photo displayed as an attachment. I type in my data and insert the
"to" address and hit send.
NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!!

I save the email, open up microsoft outlook 2003 and then I see my email
saved in my in box. I then click forward and thats how I email my photos.

There can't it send the first time I click send and not go thru the other
stuff?
