ICan not upgrade Office 2003 without activeX, Just where does one go to find
a button that says download here X? Do we need to go to some other site?
Why in the world should one have to? One would assume that Microsoft would
be the the place to get same. Would one not? Someone doesn't know the
meaning of K.I.S.S. method. Do they?

I'm sorry you've had a bad experience updating your Office products. The
intention of the Office Update site is to keep it as simple as possible and
have the user simply click a button and have their machine scanned for
updates and have them apply automatically. To do this ActiveX is required,
this is a technological requirement. But all updates are also available as
individual downloads, to be applied manually. Please go and browse all
available updates for your Office 2003 products here
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/CD010224941033.aspx

If you have any problems, please reply back.
