How does one permanetly turn off the reviewing toolbar in Office 2

Although I'm sure it's useful to some to have this toolbar accessable from
the startup of any of the office programs, I've found it to be inconvient for
my general work purposes. I've already tried turning it off and deselcting it
from Toolbars> Customize but it just keeps coming back the next time I open
the software. Any suggestions on how to turn this off so that it has to be
manually selected for use?
