How does one retrieve deleted items in OneNote 2007?

OneNote seems like a great program, but items deleted from it do not show up
in the Recycle Bin and appear gone forever. Is there some way to recover
mistaken deletions?

Click File | Open Backup. ON keeps 2 days of backup by default. You can
change this in tools \ options \ backup.
