How does the "% Complete" field displays the Value for the Project

B

BABAL

In the MSP, the % Complete field is not showing any value for the Project
even though the resources for the project has updated their timesheets.

What can be the cause for this field not populating.

Thanks in Advance

First thing I would check is this:

Open the project in MS Project Professional. Check the Tools > Options >
Calculation tab. Make sure that "Updating Task Status Updates Resource Status"
is CHECKED.

BABAL:

Are you using the My Tasks page or the My Timesheets page? If it is the
latter, your users must import their Timesheet values to the My Tasks page
and then submit that update to the Project Manager. Submitting timesheets
does not send updates to the projects.

Are you using Project Server 2003 or 2007?

If 2003, has your project manager gone into PWA and accepted the task
updates?

If 2007, are you using My Tasks or My Timesheets. If My Timesheets then
those timesheets would have to be imported into My Tasks by the resources
and then submitted to the PM like Gary said.
