How doI change default "page view" when opening a word file?

S

Shannon

I am making a book of pictures, in WORD. Each page is stored in a seperate file. I would like each picture, when it is initially opened to open in "full page" view. When I saved them, I didn't think about this. Is there any way to make this change with the entire group or indiviually. I searched for a command but couldn't find one.
Thanks
Shannon

Hi Shannon,

You could run a batch process to open each file, change the view and then
resave it.

See the article "How to Find & ReplaceAll on a Batch of Documents in the
Same Folder" at:

http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/MacrosVBA/BatchFR.htm

to see how to access all of the documents in a folder.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
