How e-mails addys are shown in contacts

Hey ya'll.....please tell me if you know where on Outlook I can force the
program to NOT show a name from the address book on my contacts list under
the e-mail address? For instance, I know John Doe. John has an e-mail
address. I enter it on his contact info. But when I hit "save and close", I
don't see his e-mail address on the contact list - I just see John Doe
(underlined). I know that if I were to send an e-mail to him, it would get
there, but the point is I want to print out the contacts list and actually
see his e-mail address instead of his name (nickname). It seems Outlook
defaults to the nickname. How do I turn that off?

Thanks. Robyn

I have the same question. I am using Outlook 2000.

In my contacts list, I use Detailied Address Cards (to mimick a Rolodex).
Most of my contacts save the email address as (e-mail address removed). But for some
reason, ocassionally I will save a contact and Outlook insists on saving the
email address as John Doe (underlined).

I would appreciate knowing of some way to control this also.

Thanks for your help.

For that version you must also provide your mail support mode for us to
answer you.
C/W:
Double click the email address to expose the Display as: field and edit it
there.

IMO:
No option exists to edit the Display As: field. You just live with it as it
is. It is of no real consequence.

Dear,

Previous day i reinstall outlook i have some important mail but when i
reinstall it that mails are deleted is their any way to take back them

Just open the data file you were using before. Surely you would not
reinstall Outlook without backing up your data file and knowing where it
was.
