How empty deleted items?

Am using Outlook 2003 with BCM. I clicked the yellow folder icon at very
bottom-right of monitor and saw the main DELETED ITEMS under Personal
Folders, like this:

Personal Folders
[ ] Calendar
[ ] Contacts
( ) Deleted items (103)
Calendar8
Calendar9
etc.

I'd like to empty these, but it looks like the ONLY way is one at a time...

-Is it true I have to click on Calendar8 then [Delete], then Calendar9, then
[Delete], etc. one at a time?

-Also, why does it say there are 103 items, when at bottom-right of monitor
it says 958 items (which is exactly right, if you scroll down all the items
in the deleted folder)

Personal Folders are a regular Outlook feature and not part of Business
Contact Manager.

You can try your question on microsoft.public.outlook.
