How flip text upside down?

I'm using MS Word 2003 and have a very simple text box I'd like to turn
upside down, but can't find how.

It's not any of these...

-click green dot and turn... there's no green dot

-rotate box (greyed out)

-change text direction (there's not an upside down, just right side up and
two sideways ones

-convert to frame... there's still no rotate option
