How follow interactive button link in preview mode?

Friends, in FP2000 'preview' mode, the links and hoover-buttons would work to
bring up the respective linked page. That feature doesn't work in my FP2003.
In 'design' mode the ctrl+click will work. What am I doing wrong, or does
the old feature still exist in FP2003? Thanks.
